ClusterWatch is an innovative product from Insight Solutions that improves the reliability and manageability of Sun clusters. When you set up your Sun clusters for high availability in the Solaris environment, it is crucial to keep the data service configurations on the primary and failover node identical. If the configurations differ-- for example, if you install a patch on one node but not on the other-- failover will not be successful. And worse still, you will not know it until failover occurs. ClusterWatch checks configurations for many data services on a regular basis to catch and report mismatches.
